Watkins-Witt House

6622 W. Andrew Johnson Hwy Talbott 37877, This magnificently designed home was built in 1857 by Congressman Albert Watkins by slave labor. Named Arrowhill, it was used by both armies during the Civil War as a headquarters. Time period paranormal activity has been recognized within the home, although it is uncertain as to whether the apparitions appear because of the home’s Civil War involvement or the cruel, unjust ways the house was erected. This is a privately owned property.
